Syarikat LPY Akuakultur SDN BHD mula beroperasi pada 2 januari 2023. Syarikat ini adalah teraju utama pengeluaran ikan kaloi spesies Osphronemus Goramy, sejenis ikan air tawar yang berkualiti tinggi di peringkat pembenihan dan asuhan. Ikan ini berpotensi menjadi alternatif protein yang premium buat rakyat Malaysia. YBhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain Ketua Pengarah Perikanan Malaysia diberikan taklimat ringkas berkenaan operasi syarikat ini oleh YBhg. Datuk Hj. Mohd Sukor Abd Manan, salah seorang pengarah syarikat dan melawat ke kolam ternakan ikan. Turut hadir sama Puan Noraisyah binti Abu Bakar Pengarah Perikanan Negeri Selangor serta pegawai-pegawai perikanan negeri.

The Malaysian Shellfish Society (MSS) Honorary Membership Handover Ceremony to YBhg. Dato Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries Malaysia at the Senate Lounge, Dewan Sultan Mizan, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. The awarding of honorary membership to YBhg. Dato’ KPP in appreciation of the contribution he has made in the national fishing industry. The Malaysian Shellfish Society (MSS) was established on 21 September 2023. The establishment of the MSS aims to focus and empower the aquaculture industry including aquatic invertebrates in the crustacean and mollusca groups, bringing together all stakeholders who are directly or indirectly involved in the shellfish industry and help government in carrying out efforts to achieve the country’s aspirations in terms of food security and safety .

Telah berlangsung Majlis Penyerahan Keahlian Kehormat Malaysian Shellfish Society (MSS) kepada YBhg. Dato Adnan bin Hussain, Ketua Pengarah Perikanan Malaysia di Senat Lounge, Dewan Sultan Mizan, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. Penganugerahan keahlian kehormat kepada YBhg Dato’ KPP bagi menghargai sumbangan yang telah diberikan oleh beliau dalam industri perikanan negara. Malaysian Shellfish Society (MSS) telah tubuhkan pada 21 September 2023. Penubuhan MSS bertujuan untuk memfokuskan dan memperkasakan industri akuakultur merangkumi invertebrata akuatik dalam kumpulan krustasia dan moluska, menghimpunkan semua pemegang taruh yang terlibat secara langsung atau tidak langsung berkaitan dengan industri kerang-kerangan dan membantu kerajaan dalam melaksanakan usaha untuk mencapai aspirasi Negara dalam aspek keterjaminan dan keselamatan makanan.
Pre-Trial Course and Claim Techniques of ILKAP and Malaysian Fisheries Department 2024.
ILKAP and Department of Fisheries Malaysia Pre-Trial Course and Cooperation Claim Techniques was held from 22 to 24 April 2024 aimed at exposing new prosecution officers in the handling of prosecution cases under the Fisheries Act 1985 [Act 317] as well as the regulations under it, the International Trade on Endangered Species Act (CITES Act) [Act 686] and the Exclusive Economic Zone Act 1984 [Act 311] in their respective states or regions. This course also aims to increase participants’ knowledge and understanding more clearly about ethics, roles and responsibilities as prosecutor officers in carrying out prosecution duties according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) procedures and relevant current laws and increase participants’ confidence in applying clear knowledge in the field of prosecution in the Court.
Kursus Pra Perbicaraan Dan Teknik Pendakwaan Kerjasama ILKAP dan Jabatan Perikanan Malaysia 2024.
Pada 22 hingga 24 April 2024 telah berlangsung kursus Pra Perbicaraan dan Teknik Pendakwaan Kerjasama ILKAP-Jabatan Perikanan Malaysia 2024 bertujuan memberi pendedahan kepada pegawai pendakwa yang baharu dalam pengendalian kes pendakwaan di bawah Akta Perikanan 1985 [Akta 317] serta peraturan-peraturan di bawahnya, Akta Perdagangan Antarabangsa mengenai Spesies Terancam (Akta CITES) [Akta 686] dan Akta Zon Ekonomi Eksklusif 1984 [Akta 311] di negeri atau daerah masing-masing. Kursus ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kefahaman peserta dengan lebih jelas tentang etika, peranan dan tanggungjawab sebagai pegawai pendakwa dalam melaksanakan tugas pendakwaan mengikut tatacara Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) dan perundangan semasa yang berkaitan serta meningkatkan keyakinan peserta mengaplikasikan ilmu pengetahuan yang jelas dalam bidang pendakwaan di Mahkamah.
Amiable Programme of Dato’ Director General of Fisheries Malaysia with Stakeholders of The Bukit Merah Gold Arowana Sanctuary.
Ybhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia attended the amiable programme at Tasik Bukit Merah today. 100 goldfish worth RM150,000 were released at the Bukit Merah Lake Sanctuary by Dato’ Director General together with stakeholders accompanied by the Director General of Perak Fisheries Department, Tuan Haji Mohd Ghazali bin A. Manap. The release is to conserve and ensure the sustainability of the species in its natural habitat. There was also a presentation of RM21,000 worth of MADANI (aquaculture sub-sector) cheques to the fishing community of Tasik Bukit Merah in Kerian district. Program Ramah Mesra Santai Dato’ Ketua Pengarah Perikanan Malaysia bersama Pemegang Taruh Santuari Ikan Kelisa Emas Bukit Merah di Perak.
YBhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain, Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Perikanan Malaysia telah menghadiri Program Ramah Mesra Santai yang bertempat di Tasik Bukit Merah hari ini. 100 ekor induk ikan kelisa emas yang bernilai RM150,000 telah dilepaskan di Santuari Tasik Bukit Merah oleh Dato’ Ketua Pengarah bersama pemegang taruh diiringi Pengarah Jabatan Perikanan Negeri Perak, Tuan Haji Mohd Ghazali bin A. Manap. Pelepasan induk ini adalah bagi memulihara dan memastikan kemampanan spesies tersebut di habitat semulajadinya. Turut diadakan penyampaian cek cura bantuan program Kebuniti MADANI (sub sektor akuakultur) bernilai RM21,000 kepada komuniti nelayan Tasik Bukit Merah daerah Kerian. Eid al-Fitr Agro Madani Sales Programme and KPKM Bubur Lambuk Distribution at Wisma Tani.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (KPKM) today organised the Eid al-Fitr Agro Madani Sales Programme and Bubur Lambuk Distribution which is the traditional practice of the Ministry every year. The programme was officiated by YB Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security with YBhg. Datuk Badrul Hisham Mohd, Deputy Secretary General (Development) and top management of KPKM. Bubur lambuk is unique in Malaysia every time during Ramadan and has distributed to the staff of KPKM and its departments and agencies. There was also a handover of zakat contributions, contribution of accident victims, cheerful contribution to the Ministry’s staff as well as holding agro madani sales at the Wisma Tani compound. Also present, YBhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries Malaysia and officers and staff of KPKM.
Program Madani Rakyat Zon Tengah 2024
25 Februari 2024 I Kuala Selangor YBhg. Dato’ Adnan bin Hussain, Director General of Fisheries Malaysia visited the Malaysian Fisheries Department’s pavilion at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security Pavilion in conjunction with the Program MADANI Rakyat Zon Tengah which is taking place from 23 to 25 February 2024 at the Kuala Selangor Sports Complex. The MADANI Rakyat program is a platform for the community to obtain services directly from the Ministries at the Federal Government level and state level agencies, in addition to providing opportunities for the general public to submit views and suggestions to improve the quality of services. Programs like this also create a continuous channel of communication between the community and the government, thus strengthening the relationship in the effort to build a more prosperous country in line with the Malaysia MADANI agenda.
Malaysian Fisheries Department Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) workshop
23 February 2023 I Sitiawan, Perak The Malaysian Fisheries Department’s Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) workshop was held on 20 to 22 February 2024 at the Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah Fisheries College, Perak. The workshop was organized by the Human Capital Development Division (BPMI), Department of Fisheries Malaysia in collaboration with INTAN Bukit Kiara involving a total of 21 officers from various Divisions, Fisheries Research Institutes and Units of the Department of Fisheries Malaysia. The main focus of this workshop is to train officers involved in the development of the department’s human capital to acquire knowledge and skills in implementing the process of analyzing learning needs according to the correct procedure.
